I was commissioned by Kaigi Conference and Events to create a visual identity for the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia (DHAA) 2014 Symposium.
The client was eager to have an identity which displayed a sense of fun and creativity. Dental references were to be avoided in the design.
The ‘Strengthening Connections’ theme guided me to focus on networks and social/professional connectivity. The visual identity centres around bees, which are social animals. Honeycomb also provides a great visual allegory for networks and connections.
The screen-based visual identity was adapted for use in a web header/banner, Powerpoint slide templates, symposium email signature and letterhead.
